Would you like to take part in Energize Bridgewater to lower home energy costs? This July we have two events where you can speak with us about your home and the energy-efficient upgrades you might be eligible for.

Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC), 135 North Part St, Bridgewater

We will be hanging out in the galleria at the LCLC speaking with folks about your home energy upgrade needs. Stop by if you have any questions about the home energy upgrade process, how to participate in our programs or general inquiries.


Public Info Session

Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC), 135 North Part St, Bridgewater

You’re invited to come and learn more about Energize Bridgewater Home Upgrades! You may qualify for free upgrades like insulation, a heat pump, and more! There are additional opportunities to access low-interest financing for home energy upgrades through the Town of Bridgewater’s Clean Energy Financing.

The teams at Energize Bridgewater, Efficiency Nova Scotia, and the Clean Foundation are co-hosting this information session.

You can learn about eligibility, how to sign up, the steps to participate, and the benefits of doing home energy upgrades to reduce your monthly energy bills.

We will begin with a presentation about Energize Bridgewater Home Upgrades and there will be lots of time for questions following the presentation. The Energize Program Navigator will be on-site to help new participants of the program fill in forms or book a time to complete the application process later.

5:30 p.m. – Presentation overview of Energize Bridgewater Home Upgrades

6:00 p.m. – Questions about the program or about home energy upgrades generally

6:30 p.m. – Sign up to participate

7:00 p.m. – Event Ends

There is no registration required to attend this event. You may drop in for certain parts of the session without staying for the whole time. We will try to stick to the above agenda as best we can. Light snacks will be provided.

Accessibility Notes

The Public Information Session will be held at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC). There are accessible parking spots available near the main entrance to the building, it is on the Bridgewater Transit bus route, and there is covered cycle parking near the front entrance to the building. There is a barrier free entrance with automatic sliding doors.

There are gendered and non-gendered washrooms available on site, including accessible washrooms.

There is a pool in the building, which may impact folks with chemical sensitivities. Otherwise, we strive to be scent-free at this event.

During the session we will be using slides and we will be describing what is on the slides, including images. Please make any requests by Wednesday, July 12, so we have time to try to meet the request for you.
